Get your workplace first aid compliant under Ontario Regulation 1101 before your next MOL inspection. Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid, and CPR. In-person delivery in Mississauga or on-site across the GTA. Same-week booking available.
Ontario Regulation 1101 requires every employer to have trained first aiders on site during every shift. The ratio depends on your workplace type and number of workers. An MOL inspector who finds no qualified first aider on duty can issue an immediate compliance order — regardless of how many other certifications your team holds.
Per-worker and team pricing available. Most workplaces can be fully compliant with a single day of on-site training — with certificates valid for 3 years.

Ontario Regulation 1101 specifies which level of first aid training is required based on your workplace type, distance from medical facilities, and number of workers per shift. We'll help you determine the right course during our call.
Ontario Regulation 1101 requires a qualified first aider on site during every shift. An MOL inspector finding no certified first aider on duty can issue a compliance order on the spot — regardless of whether an incident has occurred.
Failure to maintain first aid compliance under the OHSA carries fines up to $100,000 per offence. Supervisors who knowingly allow non-compliant conditions can face personal liability and prosecution under the Provincial Offences Act.
First aid certificates are valid for 3 years. An expired certificate does not satisfy the regulation — even by a single day. Many employers find out their certificates have lapsed only when an MOL inspector asks to see them.
If a worker is injured and no trained first aider is present, your liability exposure in any WSIB claim or legal proceeding increases significantly. Demonstrating first aid compliance is one of the clearest indicators of a diligent employer.
First aid training is one of the fastest and most straightforward compliance requirements to satisfy. Most teams are fully certified in a single day.

It depends on your workplace type, number of workers per shift, and distance from medical aid. Generally, Standard First Aid is required for workplaces with 5 or more workers per shift, or any workplace more than 20 minutes from a medical facility. Emergency First Aid applies to lower-risk workplaces. We'll help you confirm the correct level during our call — just tell us about your workplace.
Ontario Regulation 1101 specifies the ratio based on your workplace type and number of workers. The requirement is not just one per workplace — it's one per shift, and ratios increase with workforce size. We'll walk you through the specific requirement for your workplace when we call.
