COR (Certificate of Recognition) is a health & safety management system standard recognized across Canada. In Ontario, many municipal, provincial, and federal contracts require COR as a condition of bidding. It also qualifies your company for WSIB rebates of up to 6% on annual premiums. If you work in construction, utilities, or government contracting, COR is typically worth pursuing.
COR typically takes 3–6 months depending on the size of your organization and how much of your safety program is already documented. ISO 45001 or ISO 9001 timelines vary from 4–12 months. We scope each engagement after the initial assessment so you have a realistic timeline before committing.
Both. Working at Heights, Confined Space, First Aid, and WHMIS training are available on-site at your facility anywhere in Ontario. This is often more practical and cost-effective for teams of 6 or more. Virtual and blended options are available for smaller groups or remote employees.
